Saving on your electric bills
Did you know that
just turning off lights is not enough anymore? Have you ever thought of all the pluged in appliances you have that are
on what they call dracula mode. They are sucking power up waiting for you to tell them to go on full. You can save alot
of money by putting your computer on a power strip that you manually turn off. If you do not , your monitor is on stand by,
your speakers, your printer, your computer ( if it is not shut down) ... these things can add up to about $20.00 a month on
your electric bill.

What about the microwave, the kitchen stove clock , your vcr or dvd player, radio, your
toothbrush , your bread machine, I can go on and on. All these items are trickling your money out the door. These can be put
on power strips that you can control and the power to them will be shut down. You will see a difference in at least 1 bill
, I DID.

Hand washing dishes VS a expensive dish washer
Use your lids when you cook! Do You? I never
alwyas thought about it if I was in a hurry. This lets heat out instead of using it to heat things up faster.
Which in turn cost you more money.
Turn down your hot water heater 10 degees ( if you did not do it already)
Wash in cold wash only ( except the diaper wash mode but rise them in cold )
Saving for house hold items
Buy used clothing ( here at our store ) Also good is Craigs list and Ebay , although Ebay is not as good for shipping
as there are so many fees , sellers try to get some money ut if the things they sell by upping the shipping prices.
Search online for best deals (look past page 2 some of us smaller online sellers are located on page 1000 in google)
Craigs list local and Garage sales, My favorite places.
Grow out your fancy hair do to something more doable
to make hair cut time longer in between , For boys a #3 or #2 works well all the way around. Longer hair for girls is harder
but easier on the hair cut bill. You can pony tail it in many ways and still look good. Men like longer hair anyway.
